On April 29, 2025, the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore hosted a literary and educational evening "Kalami kazynaly kalamger", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the poet, laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash", Candidate of Philological Sciences Serikbay Ospanov.
The event was attended by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Amanzhol Kuzembayuly, Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Suyunkina Pialash Baltievna, storyteller Nagashybai Alpysov and journalist Nazira Zharmaganbetova.
During the event, Palash Baltievna presented the museum with a chest made by S. Ospanov. Songs based on S. Ospanov's poems were performed. "Sagyndym Almatymdy" and "Shili".
During the event, there was an exhibition of personal belongings and photographs of S. Ospanov from the museum's funds.
