On April 10, 2025, the Museum Readings project dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore was held at Kogamdyk Kelisim State University. The event was attended by the head of the Department of traditional Kazakh Culture of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Scientific Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, PhD Ardabi Maulet with a lecture on one of the urgent problems of our time - "Intangible cultural heritage". Also, within the framework of the topic "Museums and their role in the preservation and popularization of cultural heritage", scientific secretary of the regional museum Otasheva N.K., Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the A. Baitursynula KRU Zhusupov R.B., chief curator of the Kostanay Regional Memorial Museum Foundation made presentations. Ibraya Altynsarina Shektybayeva N.T. During the museum readings, topical issues were discussed: elements of the intangible cultural heritage taken by Kazakhstan under UNESCO protection, methods of selecting a complex of museum objects, etc. The event was also attended by heads and employees of cultural, educational, and sports institutions of Kostanay region, applied scientists, students and schoolchildren, and media representatives.
