In honor of Republic Day of Kazakhstan, T.Z. Mukhanbetkali, an employee of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, gave a museum lecture entitled "History of the Native Land" for students of grade 8A at the Akhmet Baitursynuly School of the Kostanay District Education Department. The lecturer described the adoption of the Declaration, which proclaimed Kazakhstan's sovereignty and defined the political and legal foundations of the republic as an independent state, as well as the affirmation of the country's territorial integrity and the revival of its language and culture. She explained the meaning of the word "republic," which comes from the Latin word meaning "common cause," and noted that this holiday symbolizes the unity and harmony of the people of Kazakhstan, as well as our country's prestigious place in the global community. The lecture was aimed at instilling in the younger generation respect for the history of the Motherland and veneration of state values.
