The Fine Arts Department of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore has opened a vibrant exhibition, “When Colors Sound,” presenting the creative work of students from the L. I. Rusin Private Art School.

The exposition features 69 works by 44 young artists. Visitors will see a full diversity of genres: from classical still life and narrative composition to bold abstraction. Through color selection, the play of forms, and the search for unusual compositional solutions, the authors convey their vision of the world and the “inner music” of feelings.

The variety of techniques — watercolor, gouache, mixed media, felt and paper applique — creates a rich and multifaceted creative space.

Each work is an independent story in which an academic foundation is harmoniously combined with bold experiments. The exhibition demonstrates not only the personal achievements of the students but also the result of painstaking pedagogical work in developing figurative thinking and creative freedom.

The exhibition opened on the eve of the “Nauryz” holiday and will be open throughout the spring month.
